SISTER SIN: Entire Album Available For Streaming

September 21, 2008

"Switchblade Serenades", the debut album from the Swedish female-fronted heavy rock band SISTER SIN, is available for streaming in its entirety at the group's MySpace page.

SISTER SIN has scheduled the following record-release parties for "Switchblade Serenades":

Sep. 26 - Gothenburg, SWE - Stars n Bars
Oct. 04 - Hamburg, GER - Ballroom

A behind-the-scenes look at the making of the first SISTER SIN video, "On Parole", is available below. The clip was filmed in late July in Stockholm with director Bill Schacht, who has previously worked with AMON AMARTH, DIO, ALICE COOPER and KING DIAMOND. The track is the first single off "Switchblade Serenades", which will be released in Europe on September 26 via Metal Heaven Records and in North America on October 14 through Victory Records.

Having grown apathetic towards the popular trends in heavy Swedish music, SISTER SIN arose from the gutters of Gothenburg in 2002. Settling on their moniker because it represented their "bound to absolutely nothing" lifestyles, the furious foursome entered the local scene as a hard-hitting, undeniable metal force.

Female lead vocalist Liv, guitarist Jimmy, bassist Chris and drummer Dave created a rough-around-the-edges yet relatable image of dysfunction and attitude. Backed up with fresh lyrics and gritty riffs, SISTER SIN set out to inject some of what had been absent from the heavy metal scene since the glory days of MÖTLEY CRÜE, MOTÖRHEAD, W.A.S.P. and ACCEPT.

"Switchblade Serenades" was produced by Tobias Lindell at Bohus Sound Studios in Sweden and features the following tracks:

01. Beat The Street
02. Death Will Greet Us
03. One Out Of Ten
04. Breaking New Ground
05. On Parole
06. Make My Day (MOTÖRHEAD cover)
07. Hostile-Violent
08. Switchblade Serenade
09. Love/Hate
10. All Systems Go!
11. Eye To Eye
